From the pixie crop to the sexy bouffant, the 60s had a perfect hair style for every woman and every mood.

Medium length hair

Mod bobs resembling flapper bobs were worn sleek or volulmised. Styled shoulder length hair ala Grace Kelly was still popular as was ‘the flip’ where hair was blow dried turned out. All hair styles got increasingly more volumised throughout the 60s.

Long hair

Long hair was given umber volume ala Bridget Bardot and often pinned up in a beehive neatly or sexy chic.

There were many variations of the beehive and up-dos that gave lots of height and volume.
